Our reference for this style was a men’s jacket from the early 20th century bearing the handwritten name “J.P. Fetherston, Aug. 1918” on the inner pocket. Two front darts create subtle shaping through the waist, while the shoulder drop and sleeve opening remain relaxed for ease of movement and comfortable layering.
Cut here in lightweight, tumbled black linen herringbone that drapes beautifully and gets better with each wear.
