Description
A unisex overcoat based on an original military garment from the 1940s. Reinterpreted and recut in a soft tumbled Irish linen from Magee, Ireland, rendered in a glen check of tan, brown, and cornflower blue. Traditionally found in classic menswear tailoring, the pattern takes on a new poetic character in this lighter, textured linen, bringing a sense of softness and subtlety to a conventionally heritage motif.
Clean finished throughout with flat felled seams and trimmed with Italian horn buttons, the coat also features sleeve cuff tabs that nod to its utilitarian origin.
Unlined and versatile, it layers well and can be worn open or buttoned. Size up for a roomier, more classic overcoat fit.
