Description

A unisex short coat, cut in a warm wool and baby alpaca tonal umber herringbone tweed from Donegal, Ireland. Lined with American cotton woven in Pennsylvania, the fabric brings a classic sensibility, while its soft hand offers a more nuanced texture—giving the coat a quiet richness without adding weight.

Finished with Italian horn buttons, it features self-contained welt pocket bags and meticulous interior construction. A coat to throw on and live in.

Spun and woven in Donegal, Ireland by Magee, this not-so-traditional herringbone tweed combines wool and baby alpaca to give the storied cloth a more nuanced finish. A fifth-generation family business, Magee has been integral to the story of tweed since 1866. Their mill, located on the banks of the River Eske, uses the river’s peaty waters in finishing, imparting a unique depth and character to each of their fabrics that wears beautifully over time.
