Description
Inspired by a 19th-century British military jacket, this style brings together the elongated silhouette of a gentleman’s frock coat with the practical character of military dress. Longer through the body than our previous jackets, its generous proportions make room for substantial layers underneath, while the softly structured shape gives it the presence of a coat without the weight of traditional outerwear.
Cut in rich midnight herringbone wool and baby alpaca, woven by Magee in Donegal, Ireland, and lined in American cotton woven in Pennsylvania, it is warm enough to serve as a proper outer layer while remaining light enough to wear with ease. Finished with elegant bluff pockets, constructed without visible topstitching, and 34L horn buttons from Bottonificio Padano in Italy.
Named in memory of our friend Paul Mrozinski, whose spirit and style were always distinctly his own.

Deep midnight gives this classic herringbone a luxuriously understated, timeless character. Woven by Magee in Donegal, Ireland from wool and baby alpaca, the cloth has a full body and gentle softness, balancing the disciplined geometry of the weave. Established in 1866, Magee is one of the few remaining family-run mills in Ireland, producing natural fiber fabrics with all processes woven and finished on-site by skilled artisans.
