Description
A new women’s style, adapted from a 1930's household smock with an unexpectedly sophisticated shape. Our version translates the original’s deeply utilitarian roots into a softly structured jacket in rich midnight blue herringbone.
Tucks at the upper chest create ease through the bust and allow the jacket to adapt naturally to different bodies. An inverted tuck at the back, split collar, and interior bluff pocket preserve further details, while the gently tailored silhouette gives the piece a more refined character.
Cut in wool and baby alpaca woven by Magee in Donegal, Ireland, and lined in organic cotton from Tuscarora Mills in Pennsylvania. Finished with 34L Italian horn buttons.

Deep midnight gives this classic herringbone a luxuriously understated, timeless character. Woven by Magee in Donegal, Ireland from wool and baby alpaca, the cloth has a full body and gentle softness, balancing the disciplined geometry of the weave. Established in 1866, Magee is one of the few remaining family-run mills in Ireland, producing natural fiber fabrics with all processes woven and finished on-site by skilled artisans.
