Description
A refined interpretation of a 1940s naval trouser, tailored specifically for a women’s fit. Cut from a densely rich, drapey wool gabardine milled in Veneto, Italy, these trousers combine the structure of traditional utility garments with the languid elegance of more formal menswear.
Designed with a long rise and straight leg, we added a front penny pocket, back welt pockets with flaps, and a button fly finished with Italian horn cat-eye buttons. The interior is completed with flat felled seams and bias binding for added strength and a clean, uninterrupted silhouette.
While nearly identical in appearance to our men’s version, these trousers have been subtly reworked through the saddle and hip to better complement the proportions of a woman’s body.
